while ive been watching tonight children in need, and as always its been fantastic.

some things poeple do to raise money for those that need it, is outstanding.

and it really makes you fell warm inside.

all i was wondering is could we ballers do a large charity event and not only would this help the selected charity, but we could involve the media such as t.v. and newspapers. this would increase knowledge of tournament paintball and help out a charity.

im not sure whether or not this has already been done or is impractical to do, just a suggestion.

:)

Id just like to point out that Children in Need was held in Belfast...;)

And i agree that a large charity event would help give paintball a good name..

good idea m8 but unless it we got the paint for free then there would be little point in doing it

it would be easier to give the money we would have used on paint straight to them

nice idea though

you dont understand the concept m8.

yes we would pay for paint but maybe sponsors would donate a bit too charity as i think all the players would put in more money to charity as well.

plus if we have big media coverage then spectators can donate money. also we will increase the knowledge of tourney ball to the public.

A while ago a team appeared on a tv programme called You Bet and the task was to change the colour of a van in 3 mins or under.

3mins, easy, you might say.

Bearing in mind that electro markers were just a twinkle in someones eye!

Its those sort of ideas that can be used to raise money for charity and up the profile of paintball.

I tried to do this last year.................. enthusiasm for a month, then apathy.
Get some names together.....if we get enough people who'll do it, then off we go :)
