Phew....back from marshalling Toulouse, went out there to ref half day for two days and 18 games on the last day...........got there only to be told that we are required to marshall 2 full days 18 on the last. 14-hour days
That’s err....a lot of games and..errr...a lot of players and i got shot by what it feels like all of them (maybe someone has got the figures)
On a serious note though, we were on field five (JT) and only had about a one blatant infringement and about a dozen in the heat of the moment infringements, in my eyes out of 2212 that deserves a pat on the back for all you ballers out there, it made our job a lot easier with the heat and all that.

Also the idea of chrono and banding up before entering the arena was a time saving grace and being supplied a body to deal with deflating barricades etc meant we could deal with other things on the field.

Just wanted to say Thanks for the best marshalling at the tourny. (In our opinion) You guys were the most consistant and the most active there. I really liked the way you told us what was changed and what would be called right before the games began. Once again Great Job and Thanks.

That's pretty amazing stuff, given that everyone is supposed to be a cheating *******.

I guess it would be interesting to listen to the post game diatribe from the teams, cos I reckon they would have counted 100 times as much cheating... on the lines of 'I shot him first' 'he must have wiped' etc.

On one occasion we had to send one to the corner and grounded the other for a week, and took their teddy's away.
