what makes people beleive that the only way to win is to cheat their asses off and pray they dont get caught. Is it a lack of respect for themselves, or a lack of belief in the abilities of their teammates?

Well there's several threads that deal with this incident on this forum, and i believe there's even an interview with the man himself, so if you really want to know what he was thinking, the answers are all right here.

Learn to be patient. Know how to play one- on-one. You have to learn to play the front to finish the game. Most importantly, don’t try to be an all-star; you have to be a team player.

Obviously he didnt think of his own words when he was a-snipin

salm indeed

i feel that cheating on this level is not cool.
im not saying i havent played on by accident, but i would not try to cheat like that.
having that little faith in yourself and your team is bad.

What's funny about this is that the "local" field (The one that's 79 miles from me...) has an airball and a pipes field, both have un-netted access to the woods field. Last weekend, I reffed while games took place on both fields simultaniously. THAT was intresting....

At least the paint flying one way or the other was unintentional, and easy enough to sort out.
