OK does any one have any idea where I can get some good cheap training paint.

We have a few boxes but want to make up the numbers but with all the tourneys coming up cant all afford to spend too much.

Anyone point us in the right direction?

try contacting the paint distributors directly, they may have warehouse seconds that they will sell to you directly.
In the long run, if you want cheaper paint, then you have to buy in bulk.

Searching for the pro-tour....:S
Contact whoever you normally buy your paint from, ask nicely and see if they'll get you some trade paint in ( site stuff like recsport ).

Its cheap and a little hard but flys well enough for training purposes.

try to get your hands on some Draxxus Blaze 'Site only' paint. Comes in a yellow box and is way cheaper than normal blaze.

Failing that, i managed to get hold of a few boxes of paint last summer from Powerball in Aldershot directly, went down there with a few mates and they were very reasonably priced

That Blaze sight stuff is good but i got a bounce when it hit my sholder, should be good anough for training though Dry DBX Its cheep (30-35$ for 1500) if its just for practice got to wholsale stores (BJ's Sams club etc. ...) you can somtimes get diablo for that amount and price

Call Jan at Powerball on 01252-408 455 and ask her for team rate deals on Euroflite paint. It is defo the paint to use for training. May get a number of bounces rather than breaks due to the shell (hence why its a training paint) but it will defo be what you are after.

Cheers

you could also try...

Hovid paint. The stuff we used was well brittle, brightish colour and flew pretty straight. Can't remember where we got it from or how much but i know at the time there was nothing even close to being as cheap. Totally sweet for training purposes!
