If you want a gun to be reliable then get it serviced once a year by a professional and make sure you clean and lube it after you've used it.
Every second hand gun I've bought I've either stripped and serviced it myself If I know them well enough or sent it of to be checked and serviced.
(If a PM6 isn't your flavour then I recommend an old ego, mine has never gone wrong)
