Any ideas where to get accommodation for this place??? There was nothing on the millennium site yet :(
We are already booked its not advisable to book via millennium as this is always more expensive than just going online. The best thing to do is go to www.google.com then type in cheap hotels in Charleroi, Belgium we are paying £500 for 8 players for 3 night in 4 star hotel called Hotel Charleroi Airport, hope this helps.......

Ehm - this information is not confirmed, but at least at the places own website, it seems the MS is coming there:

http://www.lacsdeleaudheure.be/evenements/pageprogramme.htm

It seems it is quite a ways from Charleroi city - and that it has a bungalow deal like at Maxs - ON SITE... so I would suggest people book there.

Again - REALLY odd that the MS is not informing us on stuff like this - it is almost like they WANT to leave everything for the last minute, so it gets expensive for everyone

Agreed.

I would have thought all this should have been sorted at least one event in advance.

For example, all the hotel information and such should be published on there website for this event prior to the event in the UK (Campaign Cup).

We're thinking of taking a team over to the M5 event in Paris. What a nightmare trying to find hotels, on the cheap, near the event, and so on, and so on........

EuroDisney's the easy one - any of the hotels/accomodation in the actual resort are good, there are free shuttle buses from most of them to the site, and if you're not spooked by the film Deliverance, then the Davy Crockett Ranch is a fun one to stay at!;):D

So - here we are 1 month before the event... Or well 1 month before lots of teams start their trip! AND still no info on the Belgium event?

Even according to last years rules - the ones on the website - the Millennium Series are supposed to publish info on venue, directions and hotels?

the event will , from what I've heard, place near the sealing area (club de voile) of the site.

It is not that easy to find hotels, but you should have better luck finding vacation houses, farm houses or bed and breakfirst.
It has mostly private accomodations.
