Most of you should be aware of the charity event being held by some of the London Tigers in early July...
So, this is what I have in mind...
Charity Auction of donated items
We need peeps to donate items of kit to this auction and everyone gets the chance to bid upon the items on the night. Please post up in this thread any items you would care to donate and lets keep this serious please out of respect for what is trying to be achieved here.
I will start the ball rolling by donating my 2006 Cynergy Jersey to the auction. Not sure that it is worth that much and its seen some use I can tell you, so I will also include a Cynergy Fan Club membership in that sale with all the good stuff that includes. Still not excited? LOL. Ok. In addition to the Jersey and the Fan Club membership, the package will include the Proto Matrix 6 in gorgeous Cobalt that I shot all last season, including life-time tech support free of charge!!!
There's my bit. Step up and donate yours...
Sponsored Challenges
All players are invited to come up with some wild and crazy challenges to take on in return for sponsorship. This can be anything legal as long as it doesn't infringe upon others and ideas could be having body parts waxed/shaved, eating paint, etc... i'll leave you guys to come up with your imagination.
Once you have come up with your ideas, you can use these forums to create a new thread to help you raise sponsorship. I would suggest someone sets up a pay-pal account or something to receive sponsorship monies.
Anything needed to perform the challenges must be provided by your good selves.
This one could be really good fun so I will leave it in your capable hands.
Pro Player Auction
I would like any pro/semi-pro players out there with the weekend free to come along and offer themselves up for auction to coach teams on the Sunday of HG5.
Teams will have to bid upon these players and the highest bidders get their undivided attention for the rest of Saturday evening and then throughout Sunday until the team in question stops playing.
Again, this needs volunteers to step forward.
So Come On, Step-Up
This is a really good cause guys and if you can't make the event planned by the Tigers then this is a great and fun way of supporting them in their efforts.
We need you to get involved and make this happen, so stop sitting on your ass and get to it!!!
I would very much like to support their efforts and I am therefore organising a charity auction at HG5 on the Saturday night. I would like lots of different activities going on to ensure everyone has a great time and raises some cash to go towards this great cause.
