changing regs

right guys ive a 1.5l luxifer tank with a GA Assault reg at the minute, thou getting a GA Myth 2 reg and just want some clarity on how its done, is it as easy as de-preessurise the tank unscrew current reg and screw in new reg? is PTFE tape used or should it be or am i spouting crap? lol

any and all helpful advice much appriceated

can't guarantee but on my bottle i just screw my guerilla reg straight in to my bottle with no PTFE/loctite and it works absolutely fine so i'd imagine you should be the same.

I got told what Liam said.
Depressurize and unscrew then re-screw on the new one till it stops then a nice big push (Turn) to make sure it's in place and not going to come out anytime soon.
(Just so you need a bit of force to unscrew it, so if it gets knocked it's not going to start unscrewing etc.)
It's quite easy but i am no airsmith so don't take my word as gospel!
