Changing Dye Dam stock

So this is a little embarrassing, im being beaten by a plastic stock
have tried and tried, asked Dye, searched youtube and cannot find anyone who knows how to replace the standard stock with the ultralight stock.
Have replced pin and spring from stock so the main silver pin drops out more but still no joy. Hopefully some can shed some light on this for me
