Hey, i just talked to Mr. Ferguson at ManU, and guess what?
They we`re starting to be a little bit frustrated, because the playoffs for the Champions League (CL) are soon coming up, and their organization FIFA still has`nt decided what format CL is using in 04!!!

- Is it going to be 7, 9 or 11 players on the field
- Are they using 3 footballs onfield, instead of 1
- Increasing the goal size with 50 %
- Taking away the offside
- The goalkeeper must always have one foot on the ground
- And: Are they playing the first game in february, or will it be the
unconfirmed game in march..

Man, he was frustrated! But hey, i understand him..
I play Paintball! In The MILLENIUM SERIES!!!!

but you forgot that you can only strike the ball ONCE with MODERATE force....No Overkicking!!

Re 'when will we know'....end of this week or so i've heard....and there may be a 'sweetener' too. ;)

they're working on it, but there's a lot of different ways they can go with this, and it's important that the Millennium Board make a good decision instead of a hasty decision.

Last year everyone complained because they made a poor decision regarding Nations Cup X-ball, and the board aims to not make the same mistake again.

You just gota be paitent, and trust Beard and the board to make it work.

At least you can always count on the same people to complain though... :rolleyes:

Will this be the Mill board's decision, or Robbo's? Cos every time I phone him up there's one of em on the other line to him.

I reckon it's like Police Squad - you know where Dreben used to go and get his shoes polished and that shoe-shine geezer knew everything.

I have patience ì believe, but i think it is a little bit strange that the Millenium board don`t say ANYTHING!
There is a lot of rumours going on, at least on this board, and they haven`t even bothered to comment about the format next year ( coming up in less than 2 weeks! Next year that was..).
The only thing we now is that the Field size, game time and nr. of teams entering will be different.

I guess;) you`re in the inner circle, and now which way they are heading, but for the other teams attending? NADA, NOTHING!

Everybody is talking about X-Ball style, but number of teams entering? Hey, at least that have been a discussion..

If i shall speak for my team: Last season (03) we attended every event in the Millenium serie, and if they (MB) don`t go crazy, we will do that this upcoming season to. At least that is our goal (+ US events), but we still don`t now what we are playing..
- Yes, we now it`s paintball in some way!
- Yes, there is a lot of stuff we can practice on!
- Yes, we keep in shape! (i`m the only "Fat" :p )

Our squad counts 12 players now, and that is perfect (for us)when playing regular 7-man, but what IF we get invited to play X-ball style?
Then a 12 man squad is too small, if we are going to enter every event!
Not to talk about the expences, when bringing at least 10-12 people around Europe, compared to 7-8 like now!

I think the Millenium organizers should respect us more as players / teams, and keep us a little bit updated.
Where is the proffesionalism everybody is talking about.

I hope they don`t just look at us as "bad" customers!

Does anybody think that any other than us players is go`nna se this as a sport, the way it is "runned"?

This was my personal opinion, and yes it was good to get some frustration out of the system!
Now i hope to get some information back from the Millenium Board in the near future! And if the excuse is that they don`t read this boards, please forward it to them, if you now them.
And hopefully they won`t take it to personal either!

I now there are other`s out there thas has simular questions!
