Following campaign, i am looking forward to the cream of Euro paintball regularly challenging the yanks. There was some seriously awesome talent on show at campaign. I think teams like Malera, Tigers, backlash, Shockwave, russian Legion, Ecstacy, the X ball guys NeXus, Ton Tons, Ugly Ducklings, Kelly's, JCS, will seriously break USA dominance over the coming years. there is so much talent on show from Europe that a new era is approaching........right?

p.s appologies if i have forgotten anyone!:p :p

U MIGHT GET YOUR WISH..

European dominance will surely occur in the Millenium Series if X-Ball gets going, severly limiting the amount of U.S. Pros who participate in the Series..From all the info on here it seems as if the U.S. teams are all focusing on X-Ball at the moment and not much else..Things have been said on these boards that Richmond Italia (who owns X-Ball)will have the U.S. Pro players playing X-Ball exclusively which would exclude them from the Millenium Series..This means you would no longer be seeing teams like Avalanche,GZ,Strange/All A's,Dynasty,SC Ironmen,Bobs Ironmen,Bad Company, overseas anymore..So you may just get your wish..European dominance but not for the reasons you expect :D

I think euro paintball is moving in the right direction, its certainly alot bigger and with the support that the Rushers (rip) were getting @ campaign we can help to spur our homegrowners on ;)

We need some teams to go over and play the yanks week in week out

Like Headrock said...

Without US Pro Teams in the Mill. Events there will be a lack of compition to help push the European Team to that next level. In the US with sooooo much talent being found daily there is certainly NO lack of teams to Challenge the Pros there!

Gurney hit the nail right on the head..

Lets look at it this way..If teams like Backlash,Russian Legion,Nexus,Ugly Ducklings and the rest of the lot got to practice Dynasty,Sc and Bobs Ironmen every week before long i would bet my bank account that they could be just as good as those teams and challenge U.S. dominance quite easily..Its not very realistic that they could do this but I would love if it did happen..

And Rooster also got it right when he said our talent pool isnt lacking..But these kids didnt come out of their mamas bunkering fools and getting 5 kills a gamme..These kids show so much dedication in getting to the top and it shows..Its seems like the new theory is to take kids who can ball, throw em on a pro team and let them develop into killing machines..We seem to have that youth blended with experience formula down to a tee and it shows all the time...

I dont think European teams taking it the next level is to far off..It just taking longer because you just dont have the resources we have over here..As paintball in Europe grows it wont be long before your laying the smackdown on our asses..It will be refreshing to see :D

And laugh at me if u will but I believe that Backlash is gonna be the next big thing in European dominance..Robbo seems to have the right formula in place and now its just gonna take a little time..And as much as he praises the Ruskies I believe sooner or later his team will be taking it to them as well..
