ok this may seem lame, but bear with me.

I (i am afraid to say) am still in 6th form, and our school is happy to boast its broadband ADSL connection to the internet to new students. They are also very quick to point out how they protect the student from dangerous materials, like indecent images of the female kind, and violent images, HOWEVER, why oh why oh why is it not possible for my to visit this wonderous site/forum during my free time at school?? i mean, i can check the latest footy results, the latest player *football team* have bought, but not chat to fellow paintballers about the great sport??

I feel very sorry for you. i too am in the sixth form but our computers allow us on the forums. I honestly don't know how i'd be able to pass all those boring lunch times of nothing to do without P8ntballer forums.

The computers in my office will not let me on the P8ntballer forum either. Buddha3 obviously does not have that problem, its reassuring to have his presence watching over me at all times ....... Daddy?

Why don't you ask the people who administrate you school network (who presumably know why it is filtered / banned or whatever) instead of asking us who have no idea why it is filtered? What you were trying to say was that you dislike the admin. at school and want us to sympathise. Well, if that's the case then I sympathise with you but please try to say what you mean next time.

Try using your school server to look up a web page about S****horpe, or even a little fine wine appreciation, try out Chardonnay (now lets see if they get filtered by p*ntballer filters)

AS of the original post, I work at a college and if you are going through the network the chances are you are using a server with a real hard arse Firewall.

These little babys, stop things like posting on forums,

Quick question, does the page load up but when you try to log in and post it just doesn't want to know.

What you need through this is a fixed IP address (the computer technicians would laugh at you if you asked)

I work at a 6th Form college and have a fixed IP cause I have my own computer but until I did I could not post,
