Prize money will be paid by The Millennium at each event based on the results of that event accordingly.

€45.00 from every team entered into each event in CPL, SPL, Division 1 & Division 2 will form the D1 Prize Purse. This Purse will be distributed accordingly;

1st Place Team: 40% of Purse
2nd Placed Team: 25% of Purse
3rd Placed Team: 20% of Purse
4th Placed Team: 15% of Purse

cpl+spl+d1+d2=110 team Average
110x45=4950€ cash price for the D1

1er=1980 €
2e=1237.50 €
3e=990 €
4e=742.50 €

Registration costs 1468.75 €

The ration is RIDICULOUS

Its good they are acctually giving prize money, but its not going to cover paint, travel etc.

fair enough, but the money has got to come from somewhere, and when there aren't any outside sponsors or television people injecting cash into it so you can't expect a large payout. what comes out must be whats left after everything else has been costed for (and that includes the organisers fee, as someone said in another thread, they dont do it for free ) and you cant say paint and travel should be paid for because that cash flow is no-where near the MS, they can only give out a cut of what they get in.

I don't know all of the information on the costs of organising an event, but i'd say do a rough estimate of all their costs and then you'll be able to see clearly how greedy or generous they may be.
