codes will be in the books you got with the car mate if you have not got any books then you are pretty much knackered i think but do correct me if im wrong

ford have a database of vehicles sold just tell them the model and serial number of the radio and they will give you the code

i dont suppose it could be "0000"?

nah none of them are 0000 they come with a M number which you imput into a program which then gives you the 4 numbered key code
