Can somebody shed some light on halo problems please.

For the 2 weeks i have been using a halo A and my captain has had his for about 10 months now without a great amount of problems. Then this past weekend all of a sudden both halos fricken pack in and stop feeding. It seems to be the same with halo b`s. Every one praised them and all of a sudden every one said they had packed in. I`f i`m wrong and its just us tell me and also enlighten me as to how I solve this problem.

You'll have to be a bit more specific with the problem. I've had mine for a while now and have had 0 problems!

ok.....

Comes off the break shooting all of a sudden the feeding stops. The hopper is on the feed tube is clear, but nothing is happening.

Personally, I'd send it off to oddysee and get it upgraded to a 'B' its only about $30 or $50 to get a coloured shell as well.

Have you looked on their site? also try mailing them, tech support is excellent!

What colour paint are you shooting? Halos don't like black shells.

I thought the problem with dark paint was that the eye wouldn't get enough light to bounce off and get a reading, so the loader wouldn't shut off.

I've had this problem with my Halo A, sent it off to odyssey with my cheque for $50, came back upgraded to a Halo B and I've had zero problems since.

When I E-mailed them to ask what the problem was they told me I'd had a liitle piece of shell sometimes covering the eye so the hopper thought that there was paint in the feed elbow when there wasn't.

Halos are a bitch to take apart, but persevere and give the eye a good clean and reseat it as mine had also worked loose and wasn't reading properly (electrical tape to the rescue).

They sent my hopper back upgraded within two weeks (I live in S.Wales).
