Firslty, ive used the search and cant find anything so want a straight forward answer.

I know you cant use an Ion with co2, but can it be used if the co2 has an anti syphon fitted?

cheers

Yes, in theory, but you would need the antisyphon fitted properly so it points the right way when the bottle is screwed into your Ion. And if you replace your ASA (where the bottle screws in) you will need to have it adjusted. And you will need to keep your rate of fire down as liquid CO2 in your Ion will pop the internal hoses off. You would be better off buying a Steel or aluminium air bottle if you can get it filled at your local site, much cleaner and more consistent. Also you can normally grab a used one for about 30 quid, the same as a new CO2 bottle. Any questions, Pm me.

yes you can BUT still dont do it unless you want to risk damaging the internals of your ion, and you cant achieve high rates of fire using co2 as it will freeze the internals.

I have done it, on CO2, no damage done, only cos a site said there was air then there wasnt.keep the rof down and it will survive. Even SP says on the website all their guns run on either with anti syphon. it's not a good idea, but it will work.
