i should point out that i currently wear a ghillie suit and use the tippmann A5 modded to the .50 Cal Replica, so as you can imaging I'm carrying ALOT of weight.

so this is an attempt to make using this set up more tolarable...

thanks :)

There are lots of people passing airsoft masks as paintball masks, mostly on ebay! DON'T BUY!!! Paintball masks are made and tested and tested and tested again specifically for paintball, they have there own set of safety standard certificates and approval stamps, not sure on airsoft, but looking at some of the face protection, I don't think they even come close!

Avoid the goggles like the plague, they look like they are designed for airsoft and not for paintball.
No site that i know of would ever let you wear a goggle system with having full face and ear protection

Only wear goggle systems that are approved for playing paintball...................there's plenty of choice

I would look to lose weight in other areas. No way would i use these instead of a face mask.
Imagine wearing a balaclava and getting shot in the mouth, ouch! I doubt it would offer much protection.

Yeah if I saw someone wearing anything but paintball gogs I'd refuse to go out! There are set strict standards that the lenses have to pass. (and have recently been updated)

i cant see any fields letting you anywhere near the game zones without a set of paintball goggles let alone with only sunglasses....
