Are there any problems associated with cutting the feedneck down to reduce the overall hopper height?
Assuming i cut it down in multiples of 0.68 then ball posistion would be the same, but are there any other side effects?
Cheers guys:cool:

Not that i know of, i cut my feed neck down on my realoader b so that the bottom of the hopper sits just on the rim of my feed neck(i cut about 6 or 7 mm off) and it doesnt affect the way the balls are fed into the gun atal, and i played in NSPL with it and it was allowed.

hope this helps

Martin.

I had no problem cutting down my new halo so it fits better on to my etek.

i chopped of around 8mm use a new hacksaw blade, and if you can get some one to hold it helps:)

apparently there can be serious problems with halo's due to screwing up the ball positioning and the eyes having problems .but it appears you already know that :)

i would heartily recommend switching to a re-loader board if your going to do this bud

Make sure once you cut it to sand all the frilly bits of the end , i was getting Pi**ed off when i kept choping paint to sh*t , then found it it was where i cut my halo down and it still had ruff edges at the bottom.
Just worth checking this out i sanded it all down nice and smooth never had a problem since.
