Can any one recommend the type of foot wear required for touney ball (suip air style)

Football boots or trainers??

Needs grip, and ankle support, not too fussed about the cost.

All advice appreciated.

Probably too obvious but how about rugger boots? The grip of football boots + ankle support.

I use cleats - they have more grip on the bottom - and can be used on astro Turf.
Pony make them, but planet sell some others aswell

Just picked up a Pair of new Nike ACG trainers. 49 quid at all good sporting outlets!!!

They come either in Black N Grey or Blue N Black. They have a rugged sole which has 1.5 cm(ish) teeth all over it. They fit pretty snug and are as comfortable as most running shoes. Used em at Sparklies and they also seem to be fairly water resistant. They actually look very similar to the Dye ones! but I think these are cheaper.

i wear digger x-tream cleats for outdoors and a pair of nike trainers indoors or on hard ground.....got my boots from planet ages ago...think they have something similar on special at the mo tho
