why when i screw my air tank into my Omen with the on/off on everything works great. But when the on/off is off and i screw the tank in, then turn it on it leaks out of the first elbow.

Quite simply, you have a leak.
If it's the seal, then take off and re-locite it in place.
If it's the actual elbow, your going to need a new one.
