Check with Sparklie/Patrina - apart from the odd leg or two, on-site camping has only be allowed for site security (ie, stop idiots from coming in the night and nicking the all the netting, puncturing the bunkers, etc)

This isn't Sparklie being awkward, but if the sites themselves won't allow it, she can't go breaking the rules.
:D

unfortunately though I think it is because of the venues she uses

Leisure centres etc!

Correct me if I am wrong but arent a lot of the s2k3 events etc played on sites? So they wouldnt mind if camping goes on!

But it is very diffcult to camp at a leisure centre! Most just dont allow it!

Shame, I say play ever leg at Cobham
;) :p :D

Yeah, I wasn't saying that players mess things up - eg: Dunstable, there were gangs of youths wandering around late at night (the leisure centre was about 2mins from the town centre) coming back more than once to see if we were still around. Admittedly it was the fully fenced-in astroturf, but if it had been an open field like the other venues then we might have been in trouble.

And as Sean says, a few sites were a bit wary of a "sport" such as paintball using their grounds already, so camping and "having a laugh" was well out of the question.

Cobham was as you say, one of the best legs for venue, but it was also almost cancelled at the last minute due to the ground owners getting cold feet! :(

It'll be a while before sites fully accept us and our mess, and it doesn't help if we leave them in a mess afterwards!

it's a major concern for any promoter, and not necessarly a cost that people remember when they think about how much it costs to run an event.

Hi Guys yes security camping is allowed so no fires bottles or running round naked

You Know who you are ;)

Players party we have an offer of a night club with Vip baller floor but it's 15 mins from the site so come on what do you all think this would be free entry normal prices for drinks and taxis £3.00 per person each way if required.

Let me know if you want it, we can do it :)
