Campaign DVD update

Hi all

Thought I'd give a proper update as to where we are on the Campaign DVD as this forums been very supportive of our efforts.

First the good news- the cut of the film is now finished! AFter months of slaving away at our edit systems the film is now in a final state and is currently being colour graded and sound mixed.

Our editor is away for the next 10 days whilst we finish the 3D graphics, pitch maps and titles. On her return we will finalise everything, add the special features and author the DVD.

We are fingers crossed going to make Campaign at the very least with a copy to show at the tournament. We are hoping to have copies for sale there also but the only stumbling block to that could be the duplication time needed to get a good run of the films out.

I can now announce that the following games are to be seen either in detailed highlights, short highlights and whole games (obviously being Xball we can't show FULL matches as this would require a 20hr DVD but we have got a number of whole games cut in real-time)

As a side-note (sort of) - will you be filming at this years Campaign?

Hi Andy

Yep trailer is the same, although we may be releasing a preview trailer as well at some time soon. I'll announce that when it happens.

We won't unfortunately be filming at this year's event - a lack of funds due to the other two titles we have coming out, the short space of time to plan it cos I've been too busy with last year's and also some dreadful policy making from Millennium this year have basically meant we won't be able to do it. We want to focus on getting money back from these two titles and ready ourselves for next years Euro season where we hopefully can fund the entire DVD up front and shorten production time to 3-4 months tops.

Its all part of the masterplan!

Hi Chris

It was and we were nicely on target when we had another setback. Basically the voiceover for the film- an integral part of the whole thing- was to be recorded by Boogie from the NXL. It was all arranged and then Hurricane Katrina resulted in him being sent away for work for 10 weeks. We obviously then had to sort out a replacement, which fell through as well (no names mentioned but it was a massive blow for us) so by the time we had sorted out an alternative we had missed our window.

The film is being finished today and all the special features are cut and ready.

I will posting the cover and a full update on here in the next 2 days. I will also be sending a mailshot out to everyone who has pre-ordered or been added to our mailing list detailing not only this but our up till now top secret title "Life- The Angels & The Demons" in conjunction with the NPPL and WDP.

Stay with us, we are nearly, nearly there. God its been a long year...
