Thank you everyone for your response to the quarter finals for novice teams debate..Funnily enough the split ended up at about 50/50. ( I have had quite a few emails !!)

Whilst I appreciate that many want to play as many games as possible, the “loudest” pleas come from those who don’t want to change the format half way through the season, and in all fairness to them we shouldn’t change the format before the season is over.

So we will keep the current format for the Campaign Cup with 16 Novices going through to the finals. Liz’s suggestion of 24 with an extra game, 1s very good one but, there would have been a lot of hanging around and time constraints.

So expect changes next year. This little exercise should prove that I want all the feedback that you can give.

Also we are working hard on the draw now and it will be available in a couple of days time!!!

Divisions ?

This is my first millenium event and I was wondering how the divisions worked, I heard that there is a pro team and an am team in the novice divisions, is this right ?
Basically me and a few guys are guesting for storm Am, what level teams will we have in our division.

Shouldn't the aim to be to obtain some means of preventing the sandbaggers enering as novice rather than just extending the finals positions for novice. Surely the am and novce divisions should be made more even with respect to each other.
O and off topic I know but whats parking like at cp. Particulalry for people staying at the stadium lodge.

Probably the right decision but I dare say that it wouldnt have hurt and would have given you more bodies around on the Sunday.

Shame really - but then no-one said life was going to be a bowl of cherries now did they?

As for parking - theres loads!!
