Seeing as the other 'fire mode' threads have been deleted due to....er....going slightly of topic:D I thought I'd pose the following question:

Who thinks the rules on 'fire modes' will be changed again before Campaign Cup and in what way?

Personally i think its going to be the same as Paris, if they decide to make the ramp cut in at a higher/lower ROF it wont make any diffrance and it will be the same as Germany/Amsterdam/Paris or unless they completely get rid of ramping at all.

Relax!
You will be informed at the captain`s meeting at CC :D

And if you have ANYTHING to say, concerning what is brought up at the captains meeting, please don`t say it, but: send an e-mail to the MS ;)

And that brings up the question:
Why do we have captains meeting? We are not allowed to ask questions, and they for sure do not change anything!

It`s all one way communication! They could have saved us for the meeting, and just added the information in the envelope we get when we register

Have a nice summer, and see you at CC

You are SO right Frank !!!!

:D

Captains meetings used to be about taking up issues and having a debate - and "GASP" - actually changing things the Captains were unhappy about.

Nowadays it's all about a few guys liking to hear themselves speak and seem important in front of a crowd.... because every question is answered with "send an email"

Do you guys have any idea how hard it is to present a bunch of rules you do not in the least believe in and then have to tell people that it's not open for discussion?

BTW I was already planning on skipping the B'ham tournament and I had already informed Ulrich of that in Paris. Just in case anyone tells you any different.

Y'all have fun!

Surfing in on the wave of cynicism

All

As stated in the press release from the Rules Committee the gun rule changes prior to the 7-Man would Cup would be the last changes for the 2005 season. Therefore the gun rules currently in force and used in Paris are being used in Birmingham.

Also, on a personal note I have always seen the Captains meeting as a place where the promoter informs teams of event specific information, not a rules discussion forum.
