OK here goes, last night as mentioned previously, I went round Niall Squires's house to preview the Campaign Cup DVD and to have a meal.
The long awaited DVD has been eagerly anticipated by everybody who is a serious baller, so here comes what I thought.
As the Yanks would put it, the damn thing was hot, real hot, full of colour, exciting to the very end,.
It was amazing how it was all bought together in such a professional way........anyway, enough about the meal and on with the DVD.
From the very first second, you can see straight away, this ain't no cheap deal, he (Niall) has dug deep into his pocket to get this thing off the ground for sure but the acid test, for me at least, was to see whether I found it exciting to watch.
It had everything you could want from a DVD dealing with tournament play, it had great moves, bunker monkeys, swearing, cheating, and soooo much more.
The driving audio sequences that provided the backdrop to many of the action sequences just made me wanna get up off the sofa and go and drill some fools.
The presentation and scripting looks as though it could have been done for an Extreme TV programme.
The normal DVD features of menu selection are available enabling you to scroll thru your favourite bits, obviously don't allow your other halves to get anywhere near the TV remote as they are never gonna move off the bit where I'm talking.
Anyway, that's enough for the ladies, for the shirt-lifters among paintballers, there is ample opportunity to watch Lasoya strut his stuff
This is raw paintball, tournament ball, warts and all and I loved it !!!
The Yank teams and players add their peculiar intense and colourful personalities to this DVD legitimising it for ballers all over the world and watching some of the moves by them was absolute bliss, watch out for the one by Todd Martinez in the final game where he cleans up the last two players on a bunker run and swaps hands mid stream, look easy enough but man!!!!, what a move, it reminded me of……well me actually…….I keep swapping hands
Not enough of me in it for my liking and far too much of Giles from Shockwave who mugs himself right off...hee hee, wait to you see it Giles, you won't half feel a dick mate !!!
Next time you admit to something mate, make sure there ain’t no camera about !!!

To use a well worn cliché, it has something for everyone !
All in all, the wait will be well worth it, it's hats off to Squiresy for the all action Vid.
Damn it made me wanna play some ball, roll on Portugal !!!
