Wot an event
Any1 who missed it missed out, fields were amazin and just the whole weekend was of the hook.

First of all a wanna say BIG UP KELLY'S, a was one of the dudes sreamin for you boys from the stadium against Dynasty, for those who missed this game Kelly's were outstanding, they gave Dynasty a very very good game and were sooo close to beating them, nice 1 boys you'll get em next time ;)

Cheers to all the teams we played esp Inferno (big pimpin Shuck) and Sad 2, and the twisted boys that was a good game :D

Way to go NeXus, you boys really rip my first time seein you guys play and was very impressed, keep it goin fella s.

I think the crono area should av been much bigger, far to many players for just 3-4 chrono machine things, also there wasn t really enough tables in the player tent, and toilets!, need to get more next time chaps, but apart from that the event was supperb.

Thanks to all organisers etc, i hope you lot enjoyed it as much as we did :D

Wanna say sorry to Cook$y, sorry mate a forgot to bring that beer back for you dude :( i ll make sure i make up for it at Wrexham ;)

The fields were cool! Except for the Angel Field, that just pure sucked!

Most marshalls were excellent! I was asked for my id card all the time! Fields were on time for most of the tournament.

Was nice to meet Nick and Goose from the Ducklings even though it was a quick handshake ;) .

Thanks to Andy from Jags for lending me his pack when i needed it

I enjoyed watching all the nexus games! You guys rocked!
Played a great game against escarmouche!

Big thanks for all the teams we played for some great games.
Hope to see you all next year!

It's always hard to be objective about an event just after you done well in it, equally so if you done badly !

I think the marshalling was cool, we only really had one bad call that I remember and the judge came up to us afterwards and admitted his mistake and apologised.....damn, now that's as rare as rockin horse poo or an Andy Piper diet sheet.
I think some of the judges could have hurried things along a bit better than they did as the schedule got a bit behind at one stage but in the end, this was a magnificant event.
The fields were cool, though hard to play, facilities were brilliant, I mean, any paintball site with a built in bar has to be cool !

Judging is always gonna be a problem, it's just a matter of degree.
Judges fack up judging just like players do when playing and when a judge don't make a call you want him to, the bull begins by the bucket load.
Certainly the infrastrcucture to the tourney was first class and Niall should be commended for that along with all the staff on hand to help out, people like Jeff Abott, Beard and Camille and sooo many more who grafted like ****e to make the event run smoothly.
Steve, Moose and Ralph all did a great job as ultimate judges that's for sure, they took no **** from anybody and from what I heard made the right decisions in all circumstances.
And so, all in all, I think it was a great tourney, so a big hand to Niall and all his crew !

Well said Robbo. We underacheived at Campaign, but it was a wicked tourney. All the fields were good (Angel one was a bit low) and especially liked the big 50 on the tomahawk field. Loved the X-Ball field to bits, we need more like that!!!

Big up to the Clan, nice meeting you Mak Daddy. Shame it was so brief, seemed to miss you guys on the finals day.

As a final note. X-Ball.................WOW! It completely blew me away and the whole atmosphere was wicked. The American boys played ( in my opinion) more aggressive and had loads of flair. They are wicked, even though I had a 12p bet on Denmark winning.

Any chance of getting some of this in the UK??? :p

The only grumble i have was at the chrono station, we should have had 2. 1 for actual chrono-ing your marker and another for ripping your marker as fast as you can. :)

oh, and the marshalls on the Draxxus field needed to speak up a bit. ok if you were at the top end but at the bottom(sports center end) it was really hard to hear them.

loved the JT,Raven and tommahawk fields though. great marshalling there.

and as ever the Chinese noodle place was on form :D
well done Niall(and extras) for a great weekend.

Pluses

Great atmosphere
Fantastic fields
Great reffing on fields 1, 2,3
Good spectator provisions

Minuses

No hustle - things went behind schedule really quickly and never really got back on line

Marshalls on certain other fields. My particular favourite was on Field 5; Syndicate and ourselves were waiting to play, already an hour delayed, when the judges lifted their goggles, lit their fags and watched Dynasty play GZ on the next field while the rest of us were standing there waiting to play. What's going on there?

Netting between fields 5 and 6. Loads of paint went from one field to another as central netting was way too low, and some players were eliminated due to this.

Whoever kept announcing that the Am A final round match-ups were about to be played, despite the fact that they'd finished 20-minutes ago...

Overall though, I thought it was a really good event - despite the fact that it was comfortably the worst the Sharks have ever played in our sad, pathetic lives.

I just remembered another really funny thing!!!!! :D

Did any see that little fat kid goin up and down the running track on a forklift trolley???

Lol this wee boy was hard at it for about an hour, up and down, up and down tryin to go faster and faster sweatin like Jacko on a school bus.

These's dudes who I guess were workin at Campaign went into this wee glass box in the stadium, where they could control the annocement board, next to where me, Fi$h, Bear and Walker from Nitro were sitting watching the games.

On the huge Sport England display board, they were writing
''CAMPAIGN CUP 2003, FULL OF CREAMY GOODNESS'' n stuff.

Then one of them wrote

''TONY HAWK - EAT YOUR HEART OUT,
FAT KID ON FORKLIFT TROLLY..
AWESOME''

lol it was sooo funny, just wondered if any1 knew who wrote it or if any1 else seen it :D

Overall, excellent tournament with an absolute army of staff that worked hard to ensure we all had fun.

Pluses: Great H-Pac air (best air supply Campaign as ever had). Excellent field designs - very tough. Overall, ok standard of marshalling (some crap individuals/calls, but on the whole more than exceptable). Good facilities. Cold beer and OK food.

Minuses: Netting insufficent in areas, particular Draxxus field and the "bank" edge of field six. More side show events/features would help to create a little more atmosphere. More promotion to the general public please - I thought this would have been sorted by now! Sandbagging really stole some results in Novice and Am B.

Don't want to moan too much as it was a superb event. Congrats to Niall, Camille and the whole massive team that put it together for us!

Big up to all the UK teams who played, especially Vipers, Residue Dogs, Wolf Pac and Apoc. Legion who we had the pleasure of balling with! :D
