Recently me and snippz were walking through our local town when we saw a bloke trying to get people to go to Camouflage p8ntball site. we asked him about walk on days and he said it woz cool, then he asked us if we were on air or CO2 so we told him CO2 and he said don't worry that they are an all air site just bring your CO2 marker along and just screw an air bottle on!!!
we were thinking if this bloke knew any thing about paintball or was just a dodgy sales man???

It all depends on the markers and setup you are using, and which airbottles the fellow intends to use... You might end up having to adjust the velocity in all cases!!

Better Things 2 Do!
There are some air only sites.

So if you were using Co2 and the guy said you will be using one of their bottles it is more than likey to be a preset reg running at 800-50psi which is the same pressure as Co2 so it will be a case of just screwing the air in instead of a Co2 bottle as they have the same thread. It will work exactly the same just be cleaner and more consistant over the croney

The only thing you probably have to mess with is the velocity because the pressures are going to be the same there is no need to get a new Reg and bottle

Air is a lot better but much dearer and you can not get fills at every site.

Air is not affected by temperature like CO2.

As the CO2 warms up the velocity increases so you could be way over the limit at the end of a game even if you chronoed at the beginning.

CO2 is stored in a liquid form in the bottle, this has to convert to gas by the time it gets into your marker. If liquid CO2 does get into your marker it can cause a lot of damage.

All in all air is better, if you can afford it!
