if you really want to wear cammo, (i assume you only play woodland)
You can pick up some cheap clothes from your local army surplus. Or places like WGP sell cammo boiler suits specifically for paintball.

Generally speaking, dont try too hard, just get some combat trousers, a black t-shirt / longsleeved top, and a playing top (combat print if ya wish)

hope that helps.

I've found that camo is fairly useful if you use it effectively, and seeing that the eye is attracted to movement, sprinting down the field will make the camo absolete.
If you are a sneaky b*stard however and crawl everywhere invest im some decent camo, that idea from Fat Bobs sounds good!

Camo

Why wear it ?
Even in woodland Games its your movement thats going to give you away... ive been playing in blue strip fotr about 7 years in woodlan and Arena events both as a rec baller and serrious competitions and not found it a disadvantage..
The only time i wear camo is to disguise myself as a PUNTER so the judges cant tell the other team To get the Guy In Blue first

SO DONT BY CAMO

Its dying man

Depends on the fields you play. As most rec fields in the UK these days are the half the size they were ten years ago, then you are spotted moving pretty soon after the break and once you're moving that's it - no cammo is going to blend you in.

If you go to "big games" or play somewhere with large fields then it still has a part to play, if that's how you want to play. I made myself a suit from that thin plastic "leafy scrim" and a lot of sewing - over the right mix of cammo and the right tactics it worked very well (too well in fact - I got shot a few times by my own side who panicked when they suddenly noticed me moving).

These days I like to charge around more and play a more aggressive game, so it's less important to me than teamwork, playing tight, co-ordinating covering fire etc. . . . but nothing beats a good crawl :D

Hi Neddyboy

Won't be at Kenny's I'm afraid, although due to financial necessity rather than choice - I heard the previous one was an absolute blast.

Will probably try for the next Big Game at Warped, although there were so many there last time that the sneaky stuff didn't really work there either - just one big longball line from one side t'other, and me poor little mag didn't have the range. That said I'll have a phantom next time . . .

Got a few laughs coming back into the safe area head to toe in Realtree with a huge great goggle hit smack in the middle of my face - proof that good cammo means naff all when some bloke looks over and says "you're not safe there, mate" :D
