Hello everyone, just thought I'd let you all know about some camera mounts that are almost perfect for those woodsballers (much too heavy for sup air) who don't have Go-Pros, Contours, etc... and have no piccantiny rails either.
The Minoura Le Korde is essentally a clamping feedneck with a standard 1/4" 20 thread on it - meaning that you can mount any normal camera - even DSLRs - to your marker (good luck mounting a Sinar on it though!) So far I have managed to mount and film with a Canon 550d, but seeing as that added nearly a kilo onto the marker it was a bit unweildy. I plan to run this at NvS with a Kodak Playsport, but I shall post a video up before then.
They are very heavy-duty mounts, about 100g in weight, and fit perfectly around any barrel (provided you get the "small" 22-29mm mount). In the near future I will be posting a video demonstrating the mount.
If you want to buy one: http://www.discountcyclesdirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=11728
They take 3 or so days to arrive.
(in no way associated with these peoples, just thought it was a good product)
