Can any help me track down the elusive Mr. Jon Bonich?
I believe he’s moved on to greener pastures, since I last spoke him.

I need his help to revive my X-Mag.

Sosta (Mr John Sosta, that is) at National shoudl be able to help you...but, have you tried The Don, on hewre...he knows he AGD stuff.

I thought I’d try and see if anyone here on P8 knew how to contact Jon
If all else fails I’ll try Jackie/John Sosta. I’ll also try The Don.

The X needs a little cosmetic help she has a few scratches, and it break my hart to see her like that, the plan was that Jon was going help me restore her to former glory. When I spoke to him last year, I was waiting on parts to have anodized in the same colour. Now that I have all the pieces in place, I can’t find him.

Anyway any news on the MQ Valve?

MQ...waiting for some more to come into stock at my suppliers...he had some...now he hasnt...some one has paid me for one, so I'm just waiting on stock.

There is a stainless steel ring within the X-Mags aluminium body that has to be removed before the anodizing process can commence. And that steel ring can only be removed by a tool that was made especially for the job. And Jon is one of the few people in the world who has access to one. After removing the ring he was going to take care of the anodizing for me.

You now something, I talk to Chris & Jon at LIPS all the time, I play at their walk-on every month. I’ve spoken to Jon Owens twice this week and I never thought to ask him.
