I'm looking to speak to someone with reference to getting my old 04 mech back up and running. Basically from the start
I have had a couple of goes but cannot stop the lpr hoses flying off when I get air into it, never mind starting to time it yet.
I'm gonna fully srtip and lube all the parts then get it back together so if anyone wants to send me a run through I would be extremely grateful

Cheers

Sounds like the LPR is too high. If you have an adjustable one, turn it down all the way (direction of screwing depends on which one you have), then slowly adjust it until it starts to cycle each time, and then increase it by a quarter turn.

Then again, you may just want to completely clean, relube and re-time your gun. Moodypaintball, as posted above, is probably the best site around, and Van is an ace bloke to deal with if you need to email him.

As a side thought, cut the LPR hose a little bit as it may been stretched out and is not therefore snug on the barb, causing it blow off. You may also be missing the top hats which pin the hose to the barb...

As all the guys are saying, reasons for your hose flying off is either the barbs have worn, its old hose and stretched, or the preasure is way to high..

if you look at the hose and barbs try pulling the hose off with 2 fingers and moderate force, if you can its the hose or barbs... if you need pliers to get the hose off then its running to high and you need to set the front lpr up which is very easy to do....

basscaily turn it off (pritty sure its anticlock-wise to turn them off) and slowly turn it up dry shooting as you go, till the gun fires And recocks...

And timing is easy aswell.. need any help with that give me a shout

If it's your 3 way pipes that are comming of then your low pressure reg is too high, turn it out (anti clockwise) as far as you can and turn off your inline reg and dry fire the pressurized air from the marker.

Pull your cocking rod to seal the main valve, turn your inline reg up until you have around 100 to 300 psi then start to turn your low pressure reg up a 1/4 turn at a time full stroking the trigger and watch the ram operation ( too lower pressure will not fully cock the back block or lock the trigger sear)

If the pipes are still popping off then replace the pipes and repeat the previous :p
