I play for the Keltic warriors (check us out at Kelticwarriors.com) and want to buy a back up marker. Prices in the USA are way better than here so I want to see if there is anyway I can organise a deal with a fellow "baller" in the USA to buy me some gear and ship it to me after I have paid them of course. Alternatively does anybody know a USA supplier or shop that I can contact to ship to the UK. Thanks to anybody that can help,
Steve

Trust

Well I guess it does involve trust. And the fact I would hunt them down and kill them if they ripped me of:D Seriously, I use Ebay a lot and I have never had any problems so fingers crossed.

www.actionvillage.com ships to the UK but I'm sure its about $80 shipping charges, and then you get hammered for VAT & Import tax... and also have the problem that if anything goes wrong with the marker r its faulty, what do you do??!! :)

Looked into this a while back, but when you weight it up against these things I felt it wasn't really worthwhile...

Vat and tax

Good points but if they buy it and I buy it from them it is second hand and therefore exempt from tax. If i buy it from a retailer then I have to pay tax. Also if something is shipped labeled as a sample then I believe no tax is due providing it is your team/business that has paid for it.
