BZ Big Game

What a cracking event this was and a lot of money and effort being put into the event. Two big features which made great games the Fort (best game of the day defending it) and Van Ryans Express train.

The last game of the day saw more money spent on mines (and I mean mines) blowing apart the field before D Day landing started. Effects from a movie !! Smoke my god was there smoke before a gun battle that was none stop for thirty minutes !!

Thanks to Battlezone / Skirmish Teeside for a cracking event and for the backing from BZ Paintball supplies (well done Thomas, Neil, Pierce and Matt)

Good reffing by the likes of Rubba Tony and Thomas, Neil and the rest of the crew and special credit for Matt who went places the players dared not go)


First time at this one and won't be the last one !!!!

I benefited from having two marshalls literally jump on me to protect against the incoming and then literally carry me out of harms away - best bit of marshalling I've ever seen at any game. Thanks Thomas and whoever it was with you.

The rest:

Game was amazing and if anyone ever wants to know what a scenario game should be like - then this should be the template.
Organisation, site, games, staff, food, pyro's - everything straight out of the top draw...pure quality.

Hold my head in shame for not bringing home an Allied victory for the third year running - it wasn't for lack of effort on the part of any of our players that's for sure.

Some highlights:

A thunderflash going off in Basilisks hand in the middle of the bridge whilst she was next to me - made me sh*t myself, made her sh*t herself even more!

Defending the train was a hoot.

The bridge game - 'nuff said.

The final game....just unbelievable. There is some video footage somewhere - well worth a look!

Thanks to my fellow Fury team mates, SPC, Scottish Warriors, 360 (esp HBS), Ronin and everyone else for some balls out paintballing.
