buying over the net

hey everyone, my name is bryan and i live in Australia. iam pretty new to the sport but am absolutely psyched over it!! iam trying to buy a new marker and stuff over the net and was wondering if any of u guys have heard of or used "www.purepaintball.com" they seem ligit but we get a lot of people getting ripped of by shonky web sites in oz. if any one knows anything about then could they let me know please, for good or bad.

is a uk based shop, they won't rip you off, i buy most of my stuff from them, i don't know if they post ovrsees,but you can always email them. Also the only oversees shop I've used is www.paintball-online.com and everything got here ok.

I have never seen a store that ships to australia, is the sport big over there? The fields I guess can get quite large, buy a few hundred square kilometres and turn a bunch of paintballers loose.
Might be intersting, paintballers in khaki stuff... ugh, that makes me think of paintballers in shorts... agh

paintball is definately getting bigger here iam have mainly been playing socially though and therefore am not the best person to discuss the quality of our tournament play. hopefully i will be playing my first tourney in nov some time.

Have you tried MacDev, they're an Aussie company. I don't know if they can get hold of other manufacturers products though.

I now live in london, but previousley lived in Cape Town(South Africa) I have seen two pretty different paintball worlds, both very fun.

hey booga, your right macdev stuff is very good but also f***ing expensive. it is still in US dollars which makes it outrageous for my ozzy dollar (which is weak as **** at the moment). anyways thanks for the help but unfortunately too expensive, which seems to be a reoccurring problem with this sport of paintball.
