I've been quoted shipping to the UK at about $50 for a marker.
Also they don't have VAT but some states have varying rates of taxes, some are included, some are not. Obviously,it's best to check with them first. Also, if you use your Brit credit card the exchange rate might not be so great.
Other wise, sounds like an excellent buy!

So you have finaly decided on the cocker. Good boy Tom,
however if you get a second hand one, and its broken or dodgy sending it bakc to the owner is a bit difficult. So i wouldn't do it if i was you. Get a Freeflow instead or an eclipse. Just have to sell your shocker for loads of cash.

Still ok for the 16th???

jamie:D :D :D

16th.

Hi James, hi Tom.

Just wondering if you guys know what time this thing kicks off on the 16th. I hope it is not too early seeing as I need my beauty sleep.:D

See you both on the 16th,

Charlie.

JUST BUY FROM ENGLAND

Hi,
I thought I would let you know the tax to bring it into the UK is 22.5% (17.5% VAT+5% Import duty) not 17.5%. Also you've got the hassle of it being in customs for weeks and then getting lost. I know this because I bought a shocker from the states and when it arrived they wanted 22.5% duty, it was then in customs for 2 weeks and after numerous telephone calls it was released and was then not long after I was told it was lost. Then they told me only the sender could get a refund. I then had numerous telephone calls to America to get the shop to give me my refund which in all took them about 4 months to do.
So I say from experience it is just not work the effort and hassle to possibly save yourself a couple of quid. Just buy the gun from england

If you get it from the States ask the company to write gift on the packaging. That way you dont get collared for the import tax. Also if you get it on your card you should be insured for the loss of it. The main reason it will be held in customs is if the company you buy it from calls it a gun. Customs get very excited about that. So email the company, make sure the word "gun" does not appear on any forms and get them to class it as a gift. A wee bit of a hassle but will save you money and having the marker kept in customs. I have done this and it worked.

Hi,
If you write gift on the pack you still get charged import duty. The only way not to be charged is if you get them to write second hand. Also they wrote 'Marker' on my pack and it still got caught at customs. The chances are that they run anything they are unsure of through an xray machine in which it will get caught. If you want to order from America I suggest you either don't and buy it from England, wait until you or someone you know go to America and could bring it back.

Cool, Sheriff said about 9:00 was fine so somewhere between then and 10:30 should be ok I suppose. Hey it wasn't the site near epping that I thought it was. Sheriff sent the correct map so I now know where to go. That would have been stupid, turning up to the wrong site.:D
