Bushmasters as good as Angels?

I've heard from several people (lots actually) that bushmasters are pretty much as good as angels? I mean, I would think that the Angel would be better being so expensive and all but I was just wondering what you would recommend to a teenager who's willing to pay the 650$ for the ebay but would definitely prefer to pay the 350 for the bushmaster (my friend). If the Angel is better (which it probably is), what would be better about it then the Bushy? Well, thanks for the help.

Ok, here's my logic, if the bushy really was just as good as the angel, more top teams would use them. Bushy's are just about as fast and just about as accurate as Angels, and they are a real bargain. Especially for a teenager, who'll probably only play a few tourneys and mostly play recreationally (I'm just assuming) a bushy would do great. Only thing I can think of is that Busy's require an adjustable air system to change velocity, and that might cause more expense. Check it out, I'm not 100% sure.

Bushies don't need an adjustable air system.
Yes Bushies are as fast as an Angel, they might be just as accurate, can't tell you that for certain. However, what you pay for with the Angel is the worksmanship. It's been put together very very well. The quality of the finish is superb! There is very little room for upgrading. The custom Angels that are out there, are mostly just cosmetic upgrades, with minor internal changes.
If you can, try an Angel and try a Bushy. Compare how the triggers feel on both markers, and you'll see that the Angel one feels a lot more like a top job.
That doesn't mean an Angel will out perform a Bushy. But if you have the money to burn on that sort of stuff, you won't regret it. If you don't play a lot, I'd reconsider.......

Hope this helped somewhat.

In have an eclipse bushy which I actually prefer to any angel I've ever shot. It's about personal preference though. It's smaller and lighter as well. The velocity gets adjusted by the front mount reg. You will need an air system (not necessarly adjustable though) but same goes for an angel.
However I wouldn't advise a stock bushy as the trigger is extreamly wobblely and shot to shot consistancy is not good.

Speaking as a Eclipse Bushy owner, i think the Bushy is more accurate than the Angle LED. I've shot both and so has another player on my team and we both say the same.

don't know about the LCDs though.

The Angel is a little faster, but it's alot harder to clear a chop.

Again this is a user preference issue. My dealings with the Bushy have pointed out a few facts useful for comparision, some good, some bad:

1. It's a little taller. You may find that not to be a good thing if you're a front man.
2. The internals are easier and less complicated to work on yourself.
3. The Bushy's barrel threading is a little faster so if you need to take your barrel off to squeegee/clear chop it's easier.
4. Barrels are slightly harder to come by for the Bushy.
5. The weight is distributed across a shorter body. This is different. Not necessarily better, not necessarily worse, but different. It may fit you right or it may not. Personally I like the Angel's weight distribution a little better. I don't know if that's an intentional part of the body design or not but it works.
6. You can't get into Heaven with a Bushy. Mardi Gras gave me an appreciation for the irreplaceable benefit of being there. Men slightly older than ourselves would, can, and do pay as much as an Angel or more for one night of what we can do for 3 nights or more every other month or so.
7. The Bushy uses a bit more gas than the Angel does.
8. However, like them or not, a Bushy does cost less and the savings can be put into practice paint which makes really all the difference in the world when it comes to any paintgun. If you practice with what you have you'll be infinately better off than someone that buys another gun and doesn't practice as much or at all.

These are the facts as we know them. Use them to think for yourself.

Just sold my eclipse bushy which I loved,
Got a C&C Angel 2001 which although i've only played one day with want to marry.
Every ball landed straight on target.
They might be as fast as each other but for some reason the angel just feels sooo nice to fire.
I do not pretend to know the angel so its a bit pointless for me to compare but i would have to go for the Angel.
Also you fell like your firing more paint because every ball hits the target.

The bushmaster and the angel are pretty much the same gun, IE they have the same internals. The bushmaster however goes with the stacked look when the angel goes with the nice compact pyramid structure. Also when you buy an angel you get all those nice little features like timers shot counters even temperature and tons more. Plus you have the fact that WDP is a very reliable company and I have heard rumors that ICD may stop making paintball stuff. DON'T YOU DARE QUOTE ME ON THAT, ITS JUST A LITTLE BIT OF INFO I HEARD AT MY LOCAL FIELD FROM A BUSHMASTER OWNER. Plus angels look really bad ass
