Bushmaster info?

Does anybody know the working of bushmasters or any descent web sites?

We've just got a new team mate who for the moment is shooting a bushy and apparently it's quite unreliable. I'd just like to vaigly learn the workings of them so i could prehaps help him out if it goes down.

Cheers

from my experience of bushmasters unreliable is about as good as you can hope to get, brother his girlfriend and his girlfriends brother all bought bushy's whilst in the states a couple of years ago, all 3 have had endless problems mainly with the boards randomly going burst of full auto when it wasn't even a choosable setting, the stock vert regs are also cack, bolt pin snapped in half on another.......need I say much more

Actually, full auto is a supported function on most all older Bushy boards... anywho...

The bushmaster is your typical open bolt electro-pneumatic marker. It operates much like an Impulse, but with a built-in LPR. If you couldn't tell how it operated or what kind of marker it was just by looking at it, I doubt you'll be able to be of much use in fixing it, but at the following sites, you can learn about the Bushy revision history, exactly how it works, wiring diagrams, parts diagrams, and Bushy-exclusive forums

They work just like an Impulse.
The main problem with Bushy's are the regs. If I did nothing else to the marker I would replace the front lpr with one which uses a Autococker LRP. There are plenty available from the likes of Vapor, Palmer, AKALMP and Zenitram. Once I did this all my problems stopped. See Below for a pic

Upgrading the vertical asa reg is also a good idea, AKA's being the best or even a vert max flow.

For some good shops see the links below.

Thanks Le-pig :)

More reliable than most markers on the market is how I would describe them. I play, then at the end of the day, is wiped down(sometimes  ) and not touched again until the next time I play. Mine had recently been in hiding for 8 months, whipped it out the other day and played a game fine.

Maintenance really couldn't be easier... pull the bolt pin, slide out the bolt and unscrew the ram, wipe it all down and lube it up. Run a bit of cloth through the top and bottom tube put it all back together and you're good to go.

Mine is completly stock apart from being an eclipse(and having a few Philip mods ;)), and having a chaos board and it runs fine with +/- 2 fps over the chrono.

Just set your regs, lock 'em down and its fine.

Feel free to give me details of what is wrong with it and I will guide you through fixing it, if that fails, pay postage and I will personally Philipize it :D
