Bursting balls.

Hey guys/girls,
Got a problem thats been bugging me for a while now with my eblade and ide appreciate any help. The gat is a

mini orracle
full nexus internal/external
Factory fast with eyes on
WGP derlin bolt

etc etc

Well anyway, new paint/old paint always seem to burst in the barrel/breach. I aint chopping paint (I dont think) but after a burst the bolt will have paint on it and the barrel length inside the marker will be covered in paint too.

I used to think my cocking pressure was too high but even with the lowest I can get it before my marker doesnt cock it still happends. I am using stock springs and my main spring isnt heavy at all so it cant be the ball getting slammed off the bolt to hard.

Possible Ideas I have is

1) nick on the bolt thats catching the balls but theres non visible.
2) Eye not set up properly?

and thats it


Any help would be much appreciated guys as this has been pissing me off for a while now.

You tested the marker for blowback or double feeding?

it aint double balling as far as am aware, and theres very very very little blow back using the old toilet paper test.

Toilet roll test ain't really effective as you aren't sealing the breach.

Try and put 2-3 balls in the feedneck without a hopper on. Fire a ball and see what the stack does.

If I put 2-3 balls in the feedtube one will fire but the rest will jump out the feedtube.

think were getting somewhere.

I'm assuming your running an Egg or a revy?

If you had a Halo that normally stops the effects of blowback causing breaks. Unless the blowback causes balls to collide and break in the neck, but you normally see paint in the feed neck of the hopper or hopper itself if that is happening.

You could increase your CDEL setting this normally helps reduce blowback on an e-blade.

I use both an egg and a halo, and ive had paint coming up and bursting in the feedtube so am guessing it must be blow back then.

CDEL settings, what about changing orings on my bolt?

You sometimes get blowback if you have removed o-rings from your bolt to be honest so it could be the o-rings are worn and not giving a good seal?

Worth a shot if you have them to try I suppose.

To be honest I have limited knowledge of cockers, so other than CDEL I'm goosed...
