Bunkering is something done on a paintball field and mugging is something that happens to old ladys in liverpool...
Think its one of them American Vs British thing, Bunkering is what the Yanks call it cause they have bunkers not barricades, We Brits on the other hand had Barricades back in the woods.
'I remember back in the day when BadCo started Mugging players at Sidcup instead of shooting a box of paint at them. The few spectators we used to have back then in woodland times. all the muffled Ohhhs and ahhhs was cool (Spectators had to be silent back then).'
Anyway back to the question they mean the same thing.
