Glad you enjoyed the tournament.

Steves' tournament series is great. 5, 6, 7 man, limited or unlimited paint, concept, woodland, or a mixture. What more could you ask for?

This was the second of Steves tournaments that we have held this year, and despite the hard work, it was well worth the effort.

It's great to see comments about how good a tournament is rather than it being torn apart.

Thanks to everyone who made my life easier on the day, (you know who you are) and to those who gave up a day off to help set the fields and netting up.

yep the beer was cheaper - but the the pub was closing for refurbishment!!!

£1.00 a pint!!!

I couldnt tell you what the normal price is.

It was good anyway - i would certainly go to another tourney at that site.

One comment though - the maps on your site are ****e (and thats being kind). They are unreadable and worse once printed. You cant blow them up without losing resolution - you really need to sort it out or at least provide text instruction too.

Have to agree with all before. . . . an excellent tourney.

Marshalling was excellent, food was great and at v.reasonable prices (nice change!).

Have a look at the above link, this is how the maps are normally presented on the www.series2001.co.uk web site. The Nottingham map was supplied by the site and then imported onto the web site, this is where it must have lost it's definition. I apologise for the poor map, it is down to my lack of computer skills and not the map supplied by Skirmish.

But the consolation was the beer was cheap and I believe you made an attempt to drink the place DRY!!!!!!!!!!!
