that we as a whole can do to help the efforts of getting paintball recognised as a sport?!?! i'm talking about things such as writing letters to MP's and the sports council and stuff like that?!?! i'd really like to see it classed as a sport but i've heard nothing about it for the past couple of months....how are you getting on with the bid?

Still working on it!!

Hotpoint (Jonathan Hayes) is still on the case. We are currently waiting for a reply from the Department of Culture, Media and Sport as we have gone above the Sports Councils head as they said NO again!!!! and again!!!!

Awaiting a letter from DCMS

To quote UK Sport the reason is because:

"The recognition of Paintball would not be a priority in helping the Sports Councils achieve their strategic objectives"

I'm currently writing up the whole sorry saga of Hotpoint Vs The Sports Councils which makes for an amusing read. I gave a presentation on the subject at the UKPSF Conference earlier this month and was requested to put it into print

As Bully has said we are currently awaiting a reply from the DCMS or more specifically the Minister of Sport. We'll keep you posted
