First off, I must apologise for not posting this earlier - lots of you have been enquiring about our forthcoming dates. The reason behind this is due to difficult decisions which have had to be made.
As I am sure most of you who attended our last tourney back in November we had a bit of a problem with parking cars in the field opposite the site, namely it rained. The resultant mess, though entertaining did upset the farmer a liitle. His initial reaction was not good, so we felt a little time would help. After a recent meeting, we have got the use of the field, but only in the Summer.
Due to this I am afraid we will not be able to run any more of the series.
This was a very difficult desision to make, but as a predominatly site rental site the Summer holds to much of our key business to run a series.
However, life is not all bad, as we will be holding one off Summer tournament - THE SKIRMISH GOLD CUP - at the site on the 16th of June.
This new event will be a large seven man event, and will include Novice, UK Amateur and UK Pro (by that I mean realistic seeding and not Millenium). Three Seven man Sup`Airs (let me know how big you want them) and the Hyperball will be used, along with SIX judges per field. You can also expect big prizes (Paint and £££) along with trade stands, music and excellent organisation.
Expect a fee of about £200 per team, including CO2 and Air.
I hope this will go some way towards making up for the end of the series,
Dan
