Building an ego?

How hard/costly would this be do you think?

ideally want a one of a kind ego, upped and individually annoed. The anno can wait but just ondering how difficult and expensive this would be...

I know nothing about egos but alot about cockers, i dont know in respects if they are similar in any way like trigger frame etc, so not sure if this will help.

Your thoughts?

it would be near impossible as you cannot source the bodies

unless you bought a currently ego and drastically had it milled (at £xxx) you would be unable to have your own 1 of a kind ego.

if you wanted your own ego youd have to set up a private label (such as the mantis ego) and youd have to order over 100 i beleive - unless that is just a rumour that ive imagined / read on PBn etc

how about building a standard ego?

No way. As Lovetone said, you cannot purchase the body of the marker. This helps with the future re-sale value. Even if you could find a body the rest of the parts with still cost you a bomb!

Your best bet is to purchase a used 05 for around £350 or a used 06 for say £500 and spend £150 getting a funky anno job done by slothball!
