Bubbling sound from bottle (help)

Minor emergency. Dads bottle has got a small bubbling sound coming from behind the gauge I think, it dosnt seem to be losing pressure tried tightening it, but just scratching it, any ideas?

Empty bottle remove gauge ptfe and refit? Tbh personally would take to a shop I don't touch bottle stuff
