bt4 combat hose change

I want to switch the direction that the bottle is facing but I'm unsure about it I can get a 14" steel hose and will this work for me to change the direction?
oh i'm wanting it to go under the gun instead of out back of the gun.

Yeah it can be done quite easily, also the hole should work fine.
