BT 4 e grip full auto

I've just fitted an e grip from justpaintball to my BT 4 and set it to full auto 13bps. However, when I put the trigger it only fires semi. When I pull the trigger a couple of time more it then starts to fire full auto for as long as i hold the trigger. When I release the trigger if I leave it for more than 1 second before I pull it again it reverts back to semi.

It's definitely not set to ramping! Is is supposed to do this?

Does sound like an NXL ramping mode. Presumably if it's not, then the few shots of semi are a safety feature to prevent aciddental streams of mad full auto if you (for example) accidentally trip and pull the trigger or drop the marker
