Broken Egg...

I've had a problem with my egg for quite a few now. I can hear the motor spinning but the balls arn't feeding into the gun. I thought maybe it was the board so i baught myself a Z board but im still getting the problem. Any ideas?

got the connecters on the board on the right way?? If you got em on the wrong way the servo spins the opposite way and the balls dont get fed in, which could be what youre hearing

I guess i didn't explain it enough. Somtimes it does load a few balls, but then stops. It normaly loads them at 2-3bps...

Look inside the fill hole, the paddles should spin anti-clockwise.

Have you tried the egg off the gun, fill it with a pot of paint and you should have a steady stream of paint that will clear in around 9 - 10 seconds.

Yes, tried that also. It didn't work when it was full but when there was a few paitnballs (about 40) it worked fine...

Are the batteries good, and not cheapo ones. You have to use high power batteries, a friend of mine had loads of trouble with his egg. All it was down to was "rocket" cheapo batteries.
If you can't get it sorted, i'll gladly have a look for you, if you want to send it over.

could be poor connection with the batteries, too.

Pull the servo, and check the screw that holds the paddle on. Also check the teeth of the gear the paddle rides on.
If the screw is loose, it can skip over the teeth, and sporadically not feed. If the teeth are stripped, it can do the same thing.
