Is anyone taking part in this?

According to the website they have sent out over 2000 registration forms!

Got some forms ages ago but couldn't drum up any interest.

Probably talking to myself here....

Had a phone call last night from International Challenges asking why I hadn't sent back my form yet.

They also mentioned that out of the 2000+ forms sent out, they'd only received 500 back!

Perhaps it could be to do with the cost of paint?!?!?!?

£40 per box and no BYO.

Looks like this could be a washout.

That will be it then!

I have seen elsewhere that this event will not go ahead unless they have 1500 players! (not many for a world record)

Whatever number they get to will always be beaten by games in America - maybe if they billed it as a UK record they might get more people intrested.

I raised that point on another forum

Basically no one from the Guiness Book of Records was ever invited to the American Big Games - so therefore this being the first 'recorded' attempt it WOULD be a world record, although soon as the Americans see it in the book, I'm sure they will quickly out do anything done here. . . .

See, I think they should invite the Guiness Records dude to the Stargate game the week before. . .there would be more people, more participation, (its BYO). . . .it would be a better representation of brit ball too!
