This weekend the storm YG team were representing brit ball at the prague paintball cup.
we lost our first two games like punters but the team showed great character and won the remaining 5 games that day only dropping 4 points to qualify in the pro semi`s.
with the first day out of the way the hard work began early sunday morning. with two divisons of 6 pros and the top 3 from each going through to the finals, we won 4 of our 5 games in great style losing only to the excellent russian team grad, and booked ourselves a spot in the finals.

In the finals there was another 6 team division round robin.
we had our first game against Grad, this team went through the prelims without loss, we managed to end the game with a draw with only 1 player on each team, we then went on to max the next game but were brought down with a thump when we were beaten by the the fine team bullets, the division was very tight at this point we knew grad had also dropped a game so all was still to play for, we went out and won our final two games to finish 2nd pro in our first trip abroad, we were a mere 12 points off first place.

This was a superb event all round, with excellent organisation, the location was also cracking literally across the road form sparta pague football ground. The marshalling was spot on all weekend, I mean excellent, this was the best I have ever seen!
The marshall crew were syndicate of paint, they had marshalls to get people chrono`d and armbanded ready to walk on the field when the previous game had finished, they also explained everything to us in english and were very helpful and polite, but they also took no s**t from anyone on the field,
we also recieved thge most sporting team award which was voted for by the marshalls.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors, firstly Zap, these guys have helped us all year and gave us an immense amount of support at this event, we honestly couldnt of done it without them.

also I would like to thank all our other sponsors

WELL DONE,

Excellent job storm!

Nice to see Brits getting behind the 'Iron curtain'!. Also good to see Paintball getting a good tourney in Prague!

Wonder how much Easyjet would charge to fly a team across?????

Again, nice job you guys

Nice one Storm YG/F@gs - whatever it is you need to be called these days!!!!! Good to see you ripping it up aborad as well as here!

It would be nice to see some other brit/western euro teams make an appearance over there, as by all accounts this series kicks a$$!! and can be a hell of alot cheaper than MS events.....

If anyone wants more info... czech it out!! (dammit I'm good!!!) www.zces.com

Thanks to all the lads and a massive thank you to Badger for a great weekend. I really enjoyed myself and have to say that you guys are without a doubt a team to watch next season. For those of you who weren't out there you couldn't see the character that the team showed to get their heads back up after losing the first two games to max all five in the prelims.

Storm Young Guns came away from Prague with a fan club, a second place in the pro division, a lot of respect from the Eastern and Central European teams and what's more, a most sporting team award on top. I cannot remember a tourney when I have seen a team achieve a top three placing and a most sporting team award. This was a great advert for UK paintball.

Well done everyone !!
