hi all
first off, can i thank everyone who attended Bricket wood this year, we have seen a lot of new teams this year attend the site, we hope you found our venue useful, towards the end of the year we were down to just one field, but with the improvements were planning to do this winter, I'm hoping to be back up to two fields, one of those being millennium size by the end of January when we reopen, last year we spent near on £18000 on the training venue alone, new field, 2 compressors 1 as a back up, netting, scaffolding, the list could go on, when we do reopen in January, we have a number of things we want to do here at Bricket wood, we intend to run clinics with some of the UK's top players, tourneys, fun days, walk ons, its gonna be a good year 2009, I'm looking forward to seeing you there,
however we have one problem this only applies to a very small amount of people !!
i also run a rec centre at Bricket wood so on Saturdays and Sundays we may be busy with rec players they have to sign there insurance forms before they enter the site and pay there day fee this is done so quickly and easily, by people who don't know what to do!! so why is it so hard for some of you torni boys and girls to understand you must fill in your forms pay your day fee, then you can go and play all day no fuss, but no we have to chase you round, then when we've waisted 20 mins trying to find you all you huff and puff and give us the attitude or say oh sorry i forgot, well sorry its not on. from when we open in January all players must fill an insurance form and pay there day fee before entering the Bricket wood venue.
any way on a lighter note, thanks to everyone for your support over the last year, have a great christmas and we look forward to opening again at the end of january early feb.
cheers
